Trailer Plant Needs an Efficient Overhead Handling Solution
Australia’s economy relies heavily on road transport. This industry works around the clock, with countless operators moving agricultural products and equipment from production areas to destinations – it is road transport that keeps the country running. To increase trailer production, the customer built four new warehouses and planned to equip them with 20 European single‑girder overhead cranes.
Factory Visit Eliminates Doubts, Leading to a Fast Contract
Before signing the contract, the Australian customer made a special trip to Changyuan City, Henan Province – known as China’s “hometown of cranes” – to visit NUCLEON’s manufacturing base. Founded in August 2005, NUCLEON has over 1,700 employees, a factory area of more than 320,000 m², and an annual production capacity of 15,000 single‑girder cranes, 5,000 double‑girder cranes and 30,000 electric hoists. Among these, the ND electric hoist and HD single‑girder crane are at the leading domestic level.
After the visit, the customer had in‑depth discussions with NUCLEON’s technical team and was very impressed by the factory’s manufacturing strength and the design drawings provided. Just one week after returning to Australia, both parties formally signed the contract.

Rigorous Production and Quality Control
NUCLEON takes photos at every stage of production – from semi‑finished and finished products to packing and delivery – and sends them to the Australian customer to ensure transparent quality control.
Packing and Shipping: Dividing into Sections for Safe Overseas Transport
Because the 20 cranes would be shipped in 40‑ft high‑cube containers (each container length approx. 11.8 m) while the crane span exceeded 11.8 m, NUCLEON designed the single‑girder main beam to be split into two separate sections. These were reassembled on site at the customer’s trailer plant – a reliable and safe solution. All packing complied with international export standards.
After packing, NUCLEON booked shipping space and arranged trucks to load the 20 cranes at our factory. During loading, the logistics team properly fixed every piece to ensure safe transport.
On‑Site Installation and After‑Sales Support
The customer installed the 20 cranes independently using NUCLEON’s installation manual and electrical drawings. During the wiring stage, they encountered some minor issues with the electrical connections. NUCLEON responded immediately and helped resolve the problems. In the end, the Australian customer completed the installation smoothly and was very satisfied with the quality of the cranes and NUCLEON’s service. NUCLEON provides a warranty: if any part fails due to quality issues during the warranty period, we will replace it for the customer free of charge.
