INTRODUCTION

The LD Type Electric Single-Girder Overhead Crane (Model LD) is the most widely used light-to-medium duty bridge crane in the industry. It consists of a single steel bridge girder (box beam or I-beam) supported by end trucks, with a standard electric wire rope hoist (Model CD1 or MD1) or electric chain hoist running along the bottom flange of the main girder.
